After recording at the shoreline, I headed towards the city. Within a few minutes I found a gigantic water fountain surrounded by people. I took a seat on a nearby bench aimed my left mic towards the fountain and my right mic towards the people walking by. Before I left, a janitor walked by and swept up leaves.

While walking down the shoreline I found a place where seagulls had been gathering. I was determined to record some up close animal sounds. The seagulls flew away once I arrived. Some floated in the lake and some hovered over the lake. I stood on top of a rock and held my left and right mics arms length apart trying my best to capture the seagulls.

After recording at the playground I left Lake Park and headed towards the beach. I came upon a rocky shoreline and found a hole. The hole consisted of mud and sea weed. While the waves were splashing up against the rocks, water would come into this hole through its only two passages and splash up against the mud, sea weed, and insides of the hole. That sound was captured with my right mic. My left mic was placed outside of the hole and aimed towards Lake Michigan.

After it stopped raining, I left my shelter and followed a bike path, which led me to this playground. The wind started to blow these metal swings and a wooden bridge from different directions. I got my mics as close as possible to the swings and the bridge in order to get a more clear sound.

As it began to rain, I followed some chipmunks deep into this forest of Lake Park for shelter. They led me to a dry spot where I began to record. Underneath me where a lot of old tree branches. I stood underneath some trees and put my left mic and right mic about arms length apart.
